Components and Features
316L stainless steel spring wire offers enhanced corrosion resistance due to its higher nickel content and 2-2.5% molybdenum. Although 316 has a 10-15% lower tensile strength than Type 302, it is slightly less magnetic in the spring temper, making it a great choice for spring applications. Our 316L stainless steel spring wire is also perfect for coiling and meets ASTM A 313 standards.
